DNF-ing a book in monthsss and it feels so good, so refreshing, so right because what the utter crap was this book?! sighDante held me. “All I knew was, the icy aftermath of the robbery, his voice and embrace were the only things keeping me warm.” I just felt like the smallest conflicts, took way more space than necessary. I would’ve loved to see more genuine scenes between Dante and Vivian, where they weren’t having sex, because Vivian’s ex shoved up, or because Dante was in the groveling era, and finally communicated. I just kinda needed a scene where I could feel their genuine connection before everything went down and that didn’t come.
