If your child loves quizzing and enjoyed this David Attenborough Quiz, why not have a look at what’s available on the Parents Hub where you can find a whole range of quizzes, including these brilliant Trivia Quiz Cards and this fabulous Family Quiz.Join David Attenborough on a remarkable journey into the natural world and discover fascinating facts about this renowned naturalist and broadcaster: He has explored remote and breathtaking locations, from the depths of the oceans to the peaks of mountains, to document the diversity of life on Earth. Everywhere are animals where there don't need to be some. One picture shows Sir Attenborough in a library, and in the seat across from hin, placed on multiple cushions, sits a chameleon. The part about animals being entertaining guests in television studios made me laugh, and I badly needed that. The spread including animals that have been named after Sir Attenborough impressed me. My only slight criticism would be that the image of David Attenborough 'today' with his concerns for ocean pollution looks as young as the image when he graduates from university, and I feel that for many young readers an image of him as an older man would be more familiar.

Little David fell in love with the world around him, his access to books, as only to foster this interest, it was the tangible that made the difference. It follows Attenborough through his childhood as a young boy following his dreams and discovering his love of animals. It's’ simple sentences and language make the book accessible for young readers. The content is informative and well researched. There is just enough information to capture a child's curiosity however it is not overloaded with facts. You can also watch the video below to learn how to use our fantastic David Attenborough Lesson PowerPoint.
