About this deal

Gave an interesting start. I am playing through it now, but it places you on a strip of land with a satellite crash on the north, a large body of water on the east, a path to some herbivores to the south, and a small plateau/mountain range to the west, which provides some natural defense planning. There seems to be a path up the plateau to the south, plenty of trees on the west as well. OP NOTE: pretty interesting! Nest nearby. The contoured surface of the root chew works similarly to a natural toothbrush. As the dog chews it helps to reduce plaque and tartar build-up. The roots also contain natural tannins which aid in tooth and mouth cleaning and are described as a mouthwash made by Mother Nature herself. Root chews for dogs actually can help to make a pet’s teeth stronger as well. The roots used contain large amounts of both calcium oxides and potassium which strengthen tooth enamel. Long-Lasting Chew And instead of splintering, small moist wooden fibers will typically crumble off of the edge of the root. These shavings will get on your floor and will need to be swept or vacuumed up. However, they won’t stain, smell, and aren’t dangerous. In fact, they can be ingested safely and pass through your pet without a problem because roots are mainly made up of fiber. It drops you on a plateau that looks like a nice place to put a base. Will use it on my next playthrough OP NOTE: 2 reports of an early walk-in, 1 report of no early walk-in

Chewroots are the best thing since antlers took the pet market by storm, for keeping chewy, destructive dogs occupied for ages. Chunks of tree root which don't splinter or disintegrate. Rawhide is generally considered safe for dogs to consume, but be aware that it can contain toxins such as tannins that could cause gastrointestinal problems in some animals. Rawhide strips should also be avoided if your dog has any allergies to animal products. What chews are harmful for dogs? Spawns you right next to a massive ravine that could act as a choke point somehow, very hard to work with though. OP NOTE: A challenge perhaps? The tannins naturally present in the roots help to make chews last a bit longer as well. Because they tend to dry out the dog’s mouth usually every thirty minutes or so he will need to take a break and get some water. And this allows the moist edges of the root to harden up again. Have you come across a Map Seed that made you go "Oh Wow That's Pretty Sweet!" ?Share it with the community! Try to include when you got an extra survivor in week 1 or not, and what your starting breakthroughs were...

For the win -- see this image see any animals ...no thought so :} OP NOTE: large, flat, open area but with some trees.

Root chews are ideal for a wide range of different pets. They make a fun and natural choice for helping the average pooch to maintain healthy teeth and gums. But they are also used specifically for teething puppies and also older canines as their teeth may not be as strong. Chews can be an excellent option for aggressive chewers that both keep them busy and stimulated for long periods of time. Nice spot on lake, all materials near by. Got another survivor in the first week. OP NOTE: scenic! Possibly 2 extra survivors reported? OP NOTE: 3 Extra Survivors reported, no other info so far. EDIT: 1 early walk-in survivor reported, seed highly recommended by community memberThere is no one-size-fits-all answer to this question, as the best chew toy for a particular dog will vary depending on their interests and chewing skills. However, some good options include durable toys made from soft materials such as leather or rubber that can be filled with treats or small pieces of food. Additionally, many vets recommend providing your pet with regular opportunities to exercise by giving them appropriate chew toys to gnaw on during playtime. Conclusion

Nowadays, most dog owners have started to realize the importance of choosing more natural products for their pets. There has been a big shift away from chews that aren’t made from plastic, rubber, and even rawhide that uses artificial coloring, preservatives, and flavors. One of the many reasons owners choose root chews for dogs is that they are totally organic. They are only made up of only a single ingredient that’s 100% natural wood. One of the best benefits of root chews and their owners is that they can last for an extremely long time. In fact, depending on the type of chewer your pet is and how often you allow him to chew it, a single root can last anywhere from a few weeks to even several years. They are so long-lasting because of several factors. You crash up on a decent sized plateau, decent amount of animals and resources around...pity about the 6-7 nests nearby OP NOTE: YikesHowever, that doesn’t mean you should go outside and cut down some branches or dig up some roots for your pet to start chewing on. In fact, that’s exactly what you shouldn’t do. Tree root chews for dogs are cut from the roots of specific tree species. And these species have special properties that allow them to be chewed safely while adding to the health and well-being of your pet. These are actually made by the originator of another organic and incredibly popular option the Himalayan dog chew, which is made from the milk of Himalayan yaks. Other reputable brands include Barkworthies, CHEW, and Antos. And don’t overlook Anco roots for dogs as well. How To Give Your Pet A Root Chew Update to Power-Overwhelming I played until year 1 day 25 and i received 4 survivors so now I am at 8, i got the 4 (3?) through expeditions and 1 came in camp on day 6. Don't forget about Coffee and Tea, though! Coffee gives an energy buff and Tea gives a buff that temporarily halts 100% of pain. These are both useful in their own right. All of these Recipes give a +18 Happiness bonus upon consumption. It doesn't matter which one you Cook, so focus on making the one that's easiest to consistently Cook.

Their roots are hard, but not as hard as bone, and they won’t damage a pet’s mouth or teeth. In contrast to bone and weaker types of wood, as a dog chews and works on a root chew the edges will slowly become slightly softer in texture. This is due to both the chewing action and the pet’s saliva. Root dog chews are chunks of natural wood, carefully harvested by hand from tree roots and left to dry for months. Only part of the tuber of the root is taken, which then sprouts again to ensure tree growth is not affected. And to preserve the root chew's eco-sustainable pedigree, only a limited number of them are harvested each year. When giving your pet anything to chew on supervision is always important and root chews are no exception. You’ll want to keep in mind that unlike a bone or rawhide these actually are not meant to be treats for your dog to eat. While small pieces can be consumed safely, a root chew is really an all-natural chew toy for your dog to work on and slowly grind down over time.Root chews are made from wood and they’re safe for pets. This may sound strange to some dog owners, but it’s the truth. The chews are made from the roots of tree species such as the Java, Arak, and Heath trees. These are known to produce some of the densest wood in the world and therefore will not splinter. Which actually was a nice location as most resources are in really close proximity to the starting location. It has good resources all around and lands you near an interesting huge "arch" stone formation that can serve as a cool main entrance to your camp. No nests nearby either. OP NOTE: for me there was one nest pretty close
