One complaint we have about this model is the 5 litre water tank. While this is bigger than most tanks, we would have liked a 6 litre tank considering the high maximum extraction rate. It's also not cheap, so there are probably better options if you don't need the "Smart" features. It's just as quiet as the CD20LE, at 42dB, and has a high build quality. It's also relatively energy efficient and lightweight - along with being one of the cheapest Electriq models. The lower speed is quieter and the higher speed gives better air flow and improved performance. The Electriq CD10L performs adequately at room temperature, but ​it can't match the best 10 litre dehumidifiers for water removal. When the temperature drops it really starts to struggle though - even more than the average refrigerant. The two-speed variable fan gives you greater control and added flexiblity to your indoor ir climate. The low speed setting is ideal for using throughout the day to save energy or even at night thanks to its low noise level, while the high speed setting lets you achieve your desired humidity faster. It's not perfect though. The CD20LE is one of the bulkiest dehumidifiers on the market, weighing a hefty 13.8kg and with a width of 42.5cm. The built-in carry handle and castors make it easier to move around the home, but it's certainly not a portable dehumidifier. It's also not as effective in cooler conditions, so for garages or unheated rooms we recommend a desiccant dehumidifier.
