For those who are new to 3d printing and have the budget to buy a resin printer with better specs, the HALOT-ONE Pro will live up to your expectation. HALOT-ONE PLUS – for larger build volume Look at the incredibly fine mesh on the skull figure and how consistent it is all around. My FDM Monoprice Select Mini V2 printer straight up cannot do these details, no matter how much I tune the settings. You also need a proper space to install and use the HALOT-ONE. Ideally, a well-ventilated room, without any direct sunlight. The large onboard LCD and built-in Wi-Fi connectivity are something you would expect on a more expensive printer like the Prusa SL1S, but are users currently looking for these features over build volume and print speed? That’s a hard question to answer, and only time will tell if the Halot-One Plus becomes a popular model. It is definitely not the most refined or user-friendly machine out there. The manual can use a lot of work, some of the features are cryptic and the companion software, while solid in its core, still needs some extra care and attention to get just right and make really, properly functional.The funny thing is that the guys at Creality clearly know all this and even provide nifty filtering funnels in the box, it's just the manual that falls short of providing instruction about it. I wish I would’ve known that it does not come with any sample resin, contrasting FDM printers that typically come with at least enough filament to make a small model. When compared to the Phrozen Sonic Mini 4K, the Halot-One prints more but at a slightly lower resolution. In terms of resolutions, we are talking about microscopic detailing. The print quality, the quality of the print surfaces are at the same level for both printers.
