American metalcore band Ice Nine Kills wrote and performed "Stabbing in the Dark", a song about Halloween (1978) predominantly from Michael' perspective. Teleportation': it may be argued that Michael has some unnatural form of movement, an example being that he always has the capability of sneaking up on people that are running, even though he does not run himself. He usually ends up outpacing people even though he only walks, and can also catch up to people by appearing to them without expending any effort. The extent of this ability is unknown, but he has been known to travel far distances in limited time. Originally, Kara's fate varied in various script drafts. In the first draft, Kara is murdered by her son Danny in the Haddonfield Bus Depot, while the near final draft had the film ending with Tommy and Kara driving away. The film as released ends with Kara and Tommy driving off with the children, Danny and Stephen. Appears in: Halloween (1978), Halloween II (1981), Halloween H20: 20 Years Later, Halloween: Resurrection (mentioned only), Halloween Kills In the first two Halloween films, Michael's iconic white mask was in reality a Captain Kirk mask, repainted and with its features removed. The mask itself was derived from a cast of William Shatner's face done for the 1975 horror film The Devil's Rain.

In Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers, it is revealed when Dr. Hoffman is typing a report on him, that his middle name is Audrey. The same middle name is given in one of the additional scenes created for the network-TV airing of the original film, as one of the doctors at the Smith's Grove sanitarium reads to Loomis a judge's ruling that Michael be remanded to their custody. Retrieved February 11, 2015. Tom Milne of Time Out offered a more positive review, calling the title "a bit of a cheat, since the indestructible psycho of the first two films plays no part here." Unlike other critics, Milne thought the new plot was refreshing: "With the possibilities of the characters [of the previous Halloween films] well and truly exhausted, Season of the Witch turns more profitably to a marvellously ingenious Nigel Kneale tale of a toymaker and his fiendish plan to restore Halloween to its witch cult origins." Although Milne was unhappy that Kneale's original script was reduced to "a bit of a mess", he still believed the end result was "hugely enjoyable". [61] Janet Marshall works as a nurse in Haddonfield Memorial Hospital. She dies when Michael Myers unknowingly creeps up from behind her and inserts a syringe into her right temple killing her.The explanation for Michael's drive to kill and immortality from the novel apparently became inspiration for a similar cause in Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers but without mentioning Enda, instead incorporating the curse of Thorn and the inclusion of an evil cult that brought the curse to him. Jamie Lloyd is Laurie Strode's daughter, as well as the niece of Michael Myers and Judith Myers, of which she is aware. Her father is unknown since her surname was never explained or elaborated in films where it came from when she appeared. She is put in the care of a foster family, the Carruthers, and later adopted after Laurie apparently dies in a car crash. In Halloween 5, she has a psychic link with her Uncle Michael, cannot speak in the beginning but eventually regains the ability to speak, and has seizures whenever her uncle kills someone. In Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers, she gives birth to a son possibly fathered by her Uncle Michael and named Stephen. She is ultimately murdered by Michael, and her son Stephen is protected by Tommy Doyle.

Critical response to Halloween III: Season of the Witch was negative. New York Times reviewer Vincent Canby struggled to apply a definite label to the film's content. He remarks, " Halloween III manages the not easy feat of being anti-children, anti-capitalism, anti-television and anti-Irish all at the same time." He says that the film "is probably as good as any cheerful ghoul could ask for." Other critics were far more decisive in their assessments. Roger Ebert wrote that the film was "a low-rent thriller from the first frame. This is one of those Identikit movies, assembled out of familiar parts from other, better movies."
