About this deal

Dewy blushes give the glow, but also can make you look oily — so it’s best for dry skin,” Barose says. “Mattes are great if you have texture like large pores and acne, in which case you don’t want glow or shimmer as it brings out the bumpy textures more.” Pro tip: Even though it's easy to apply, we still have to give it a good shake before dispensing, since the formula may separate in the tube. Like eyeshadow and eyeliner, there are no real limitations to what liquid blush shade is best for your skin tone. “You can wear any shade — just choose the right intensity of the shade you’re going for,” says Jaikaran. If you have fair skin and have your heart set on a bold berry blush, then go for it. Because you shouldn’t need a crush to make you blush! Give your cheeks the perfect kiss of color with this ultra-blendable & buildable, lightweight creamy liquid formula. Infused with skin-loving ingredients like pomegranate, rose extract and watermelon, this easy to apply, multi-use formula leaves just the right amount of color on cheeks or lips.

That said, certain shades may enhance the cheeks or offer better payoff if you choose them strategically. For instance, for those who are fair, “light pinks and corals look gorgeous on lighter skin tones,” says Jaikaran, who adds they'll have the most natural effect, as though you’re actually blushing for whatever reason. What We Love: The instant payoff is ideal for anyone who doesn’t feel like applying multiple layers of sheer blush every day. INGREDIENTS: Triethylhexanoin, Octyldodecanol, Silica, Bis-Diglyceryl Polyacyladipate-2, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Synthetic Wax, Synthetic Beeswax, Polyethylene, Triethoxycaprylylsilane, Sorbitan Sesquioleate, Stearalkonium Hectorite, Propylene Carbonate, Ethylene/Propylene Copolymer, 1,2-Hexanediol, Tocopheryl Acetate, Caprylyl Glycol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Dimethicone, Punica Granatum Seed Oil, Citrullus Lanatus (Watermelon) Seed Oil, Rosa Damascena Flower Oil, Calcium Titanium Borosilicate, Tin Oxide, Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891), Red 28 Lake (CI 45410), Iron Oxides (CI 77491, CI 77499) What We Don’t Love: It can highlight different textures on skin, including blemishes and fine lines. Its thin, liquid-y feel is supremely easy to blend, possibly because of the addition of moisturizing monoï and tamanu oils, both of which can be found throughout the brand's entire line of liquid blush. Yet the pigments are what we love the most — they're rich, luminous, and full-bodied enough that they show up on all skin tones.Wine Glow Ingredients: Water (Aqua/Eau), Isododecane, PEG-10 Dimethicone, Butylene Glycol, Dimethicone, Triethylhexanoin, Dicaprylyl Carbonate, Ethylhexyl Isononanoate, Cetyl PEG/PPG-10/1 Dimethicone, Vinyl Dimethicone/Methicone Silsesquioxane Crosspolymer, Glycerin, Sodium Chloride, Mica, Phenoxyethanol, Dimethicone Crosspolymer, Disteardimonium Hectorite, Polyglyceryl-2 Triisostearate, Sodium Dehydroacetate, Methyl Methacrylate Crosspolymer, Ethylhexylglycerin, Rosa Centifolia Flower Water, Triethoxycaprylylsilane, Isopropyl Titanium Triisostearate, Triethoxysilylethyl Polydimethylsiloxyethyl Dimethicone, Citrullus Vulgaris (Watermelon) Fruit Extract, Punica Granatum Fruit Juice Each of the four shades — rose, coral, red and plum — are vibrantly pigmented while still offering translucent finish, while the gelée-like texture is a cinch to blend in with fingers. Once blended out, our cheeks had a nice glowy radiance and a natural-looking flush. There are seven colors to choose from to compliment a range of skin tones, though we would love to see the brand expand this to include more undertones. Since the formula is somewhat sheer, you won't get a ton of pigment with a single swipe. However, it's very buildable, so you can achieve the exact level of color you want without accidentally overdoing it.

Try the Milani Make It Dewy Hydrate + Illuminate Setting Spray to get that barely there, effortless dewy finish. Finish with a sheer Cheek Kiss Liquid Blush in your favourite shade, and you’re ready to turn heads with a casual daytime look. Unlike its creamier counterparts, Benetint won't move once it sets, so you can rest assured that your pop of color will last all day (and then some). However, because it's a classic and the formula has remained virtually untouched over the years, it doesn't have all the bells and whistles as the newcomers, like skincare benefits or a luminous finish. So, proceed with caution to get the most natural finish, knowing you can always add more without it ever getting cakey. What We Love: It has great staying power for a liquid blush and can be used on both cheeks and lips.

I’m glad they are sheer and lightly pigmented. That’s why I love cream blush. Cream products tend to look natural and skin like and I’ve been rather disappointed with a lot of modern drugstore cream blushes. I feel trapped with high-end and I just can’t afford it. I know I’m in the minority here but it is nice to have products that work for my skintone. So many cream products are so dark now a days. I think brands got obsessed with making them work with brushes and looking good on mid tone youtubers they sorta forgot we exist. I’m not even the palest person I know but I can not even consider using most of the blushes on the market. Since their baked blushes are so pigmented I think it’s nice these are more my speed. I think if you have intense blushes in another formula that work for darker skintones but not lighter it only makes sense to make a sheer light formula. That shade looks a little dark to me so I’m hopeful the pink is more natural. I’ll be getting one in the fall now that I know they maybe my speed so thank you for the review. I understand other people will be disappointed in these but honestly I really wanna be able to wear blush and most blushes marketed as sheer are too dark for me much less those paler than me. Hopefully shades like wine glow and berry smooch look decent on med-dark skintones so we can all be happy. Sorry for the essay lol May Contain: Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891), Yellow 5 Lake (CI 19140), Red 6 (CI 15850), Iron Oxides (CI 77499)

Thanks to an influx of tons of new additions to the market in recent years, you can now find cream blushes in various formats and finishes. "Just like with foundation, you need to tailor it to your own needs," says makeup artist Andreea Ali. "You can have different finishes like matte, satin, or slightly shimmery, so it all depends on your preference." Liquid blushes tend to be super-concentrated, which is why you can usually find them in tiny tubes and bottles. And because a single dab will usually have a ton of pigment, a blendable formula is key. “They have to be easily buffed out with either a dense brush, beauty blender, or your fingers,” says Gray. “I also like when the first layer of blush is sheerer, so that I can build the product up. If there is too much pigment, it does not look as seamless.” First, keep in mind: Less is more, so start with the smallest amount possible and take it from there, especially if it’s your first time using it. “This will help you achieve a natural-looking flush without going overboard,” says Jaikaran.

Finally, “if you’re looking for more longevity, set it with a translucent powder or a corresponding shade in powder form,” she says, adding that if you accidentally applied too much, don't sweat it — liquid blush is forgiving. “You can always blend it out with a damp sponge or your fingertips." Is liquid blush better than cream blush? Finish: Another important aspect of cream blush is the finish. When choosing from different textures and formulas, consider your skin type, as well as the look you're going for. It's important to choose a formula that's suited to your skin's particular needs. "If you have oily skin, I suggest you use formulas that are a bit more intense in pigment," says Ali. The Milani Cheek Kiss Cream Blush is a great choice. "This is because oily skin tends to 'melt' all cream products." If you have dry skin, opting for a more luminous formula can help add a glow to your complexion. Offering a diverse range that can be applied to suit your personal preference and beauty aesthetic, Milani makes it easy to carve out your beauty niche, whatever that may be.
