JP is passionate about equipping ministries around the world to reach the future of the Church. I was probably, at best, agnostic. I believed there is a God; but I don’t know who He is—and really thought, “What are the odds I’d be born to the right country?”—like: “If I was born in India, I’d be Hindu. If I was born in China, I’d be Buddhist. If I was born in Iran, I’d be Muslim. If I was born in Israel, I might be Jewish. So, what are the odds I’d be born to the right country/to the right God?” On top of that, your social circle is likely to change. Through work and/or school, you’ll meet new people, start new romantic relationships, have new bosses and classmates… it can be quite overwhelming! Resume Writing, Interviewing and Negotiation Skills When facing an issue, don’t look at the situation as “something being wrong with you.” There’s something wrong with everyone- we all have a sinful nature, and we all need Jesus to help us. Accept that! JP: Yes; I was raised in the church; and so grew up going to church multiple times a week; went to a parochial school/a church school for nine years. Really, my theology was that God was this Sheriff in the sky that was going to catch me doing something wrong.

Does that mean you should work at a job you’re not passionate about? Maybe. It depends on the situation. If you have a job that you are passionate about, that’s great. Work hard at it. Be a great employee. But if you can’t find such a job, or you have a job you’re not passionate about—well, you’re still called to be a great employee. Cooking This video from YouTuber Justine Leconte is a short and sweet explanation of how to care for your clothes. She gives advice not only on how to do laundry the right way, but also how to store your clothes so they have a long lifespan.

I’m not talking about heading off to college for the first time… but about getting my own place to live. There are some terrific money saving apps that make budgeting and saving a cinch, so you really don’t have to think about it too much. You should also know how to change a flat tire and pump gas, should you ever have to do it yourself. Being able to change a flat will help you avoid having to call roadside assistance, which can be a costly expense depending on your auto insurance coverage. C. Juggling work and life away from work can get overwhelming if you don’t have a system for allocating a specific amount of time to projects and tasks. Time-management skillsare a must to optimize productivity, keep your day flowing smoothly and minimize stress. There are a few good credit cards out there, designed to help you build credit when you’re just starting out. The limits will not be as high and some even offer rewards. Barry met Robert Lewis in 2001 after joining the board of a national ministry, the “Leadership Network,” and was immediately moved by Robert’s Christ-like demeanor and passion for Men’s Fraternity, Robert’s men’s ministry curriculum. Barry went on to lead dozens of men’s groups through the Men’s Fraternity curriculum, providing a life-changing experience for men both in their personal and work networks.
