Although AMD states‘System Memory Specification Up to 2400MHz’ I tried reconfiguring the BIOS to run the memory at 2666 MHz and the results were surprisingly successful: During the stress test the maximum temperature I recorded on the top of the device was around 35.3°C in an ambient room temperature of 18.0°C and the fan whilst audible it was not excessively loud measuring 42 dBA on my sound meter next to the device. As you can see the 16GB model outperformed the 8GB model by a fair margin. With 7% difference on PassMark, 3% on PCMark and 9% on 3DMark. Forget about hardcore gaming, rendering or anything that would require sheer compute power. The 3750H is good but not that good. After all, it is a mobile APU and one that was launched almost three years ago.
