About this deal

I would desctibe the current sound as very Bassheavy, Muse like heavy/fuzz synth like tone, which I really like the Octave up gives an even more synth like feel. The Donner Harmonic Square has 7-octave modes that you can switch by turning the main knob: ±2, ±3, ±4, ±5, ±7, 1 octave, and 2 octaves. All of this is housed in a very compact aluminum alloy chassis that will easily fit on any pedalboard and be able to take road and gig punishment.

I’ve never used a noise gate and never really investigated them to be completely honest. I am not very well equipped to talk about these pedals. However, I can confirm that this is not a direct clone of any other Noise Gate out there. But as far as functionality goes, it looks very reminiscent of the Decimator noise gate pedal. I know the Decimator is an exceptionally popular Noise Gate. So I would not be at all surprised if this Joyo noise gate was at the very least inspired by the Decimator Noise gate. The Donner Harmonic Square Octave is an octave and pitch shifter pedal that will work great with any six-string guitar, 4-string bass guitars, baritone guitar, etc. It offers three modes of operation. By using its toggle you can choose between Sharp, Detune, and Flat. Each of these delivers a different flavor of octave and lets you explore a myriad of sounds.I have been using and testing Joyopedals since 2014 and I can safely say that I am besotted over these cloned pedals and have them on my pedalboard over their expensive counterparts. Deluxe Crunch by Joyo is another pedal that is not a clone of anything. However, with this Deluxe crunch, we don’t have to guess what it is cloned after. Because the wonderful people over at Joyo have confirmed that this is, in fact, a pedal that has been designed by Joyo that is completely unique and not based or cloned off of another pedal. But, one thing that I do notice is that this Deluxe Crunch is quite similar sounding to the Classic Crunch also by Joyo which is a clone of the MI Audio Crunch. Joyo Deluxe Crunch Clone There’s no doubt this Power supply 4 by Joyo is a clone of the Voodoo Labs PS. However, there seems to be quite a lot of confusion surrounding whether or not this Joyo is in face truly isolated. The Voodoo Labs power supply most certainly provides truly isolated outputs. And whilst this power Supply 4 claims to have isolated outputs. The consensus that I have heard is that this is not true isolation. However, this is not confirmed. If you’re wondering if this is still a good power supply, I would 100% say YES it is. Despite apparently not being truly isolated, I’ve yet to experience unbearable noise. So, for the price in compassion tot eh Voodoo labs it is hard to go wrong. If you’re the type of person obsessed with their power supply (no disrespect, I totally understand), then this is probably not the choice for as it might be worth forking out the extra for the Voodoo Labs. Joyo Power Supply 2 Clone Of Nothing also I notice I can get some radio station interferrance.....is that because I have screwed something up or is it just how things go ?

Such attitude is particularly important in the case of cheaper stompboxes, as certain mistakes may be fatal for your sound. Practice makes perfect, though, and I would highly recommend buying a less expensive octave pedal if you are a beginner in the world of octaves. The brand we are going to talk about today is Joyo and the renowned pedal is JF-12 Voodoo Octave. This baby will cost you less than a pair of trousers and will still provide you with a quality performance. It will deliver more than you might expect, which will act as a wonderful surprise in the end. Are you ready to take a risk? If so, then keep on reading! FeaturesActually thats not quite right, the Joyo resistor is indeed 100K, not 51K. So if you swap the positions of the 47nF and 100nF caps you end up with the Foxx Tone Machine schematic, except for the pot values and the switchable 1n/33n caps for the "mid cut". I swapped the 47n/100n caps, (the 47n goes in the left position and the 100n on the right) it improves the tone and makes the tone control more user friendly. I put in a 4n7 to replace the 1n on the mid cut switch. I think the circuit is working how it should now, going from youtube demos. The toggle switch for cutting out the mid-range of your tone is also useful for getting a sound that works best with your rig or the song you're playing. It alters the sound just enough so that more possible tones are provided. While its effects are technically not the best in the market, they perform way better than other pedals at the price range and will definitely deliver great tones that your audience will enjoy. Joyo JF-12 is more versatile than some of its fancier siblings. Yes, you heard me, it can definitely compete with the devices that are way more expensive in terms of diversity. What can be better than that? Just a few things probably. This capable beast has a decent build quality – the enclosure is rugged enough to withstand daily usage for years to come. Internal parts have nice quality as well, which guarantees that this pedal will not stop working that easily.

This is the second most famous Joyo clone pedal. In my opinion, it is the Vintage OD above along with this Joyo Ultimate Drive from which the solid reputation for these pedals was derived. This Joyo Ultimate Drive is an incredible clone of the Fulltone OCD pedal. The OCD is as good as it gets for light to mild drive tones. Fulltone OCD vs Joyo Ultimate Drive Our choice for best octave pedal is the MXR M288 Octave Deluxe. It offers a creamy analog tone with a great variety of options from subtle to extreme. For those on a budget, the Donner Harmonic Square is a fantastic choice with plenty of features in a compact size. If you demand the best there is, our premium option is the Electro-Harmonix Micro POG. The voodoo octave is a cheap octazver/fuzz pedal made by Joyo. Fuzz, tone and volume knobs are pretty common, but there is a little mid cut switch to get a "Muffer" tone and a fat sound. There's also 2 footswitches : on/off and octave, which make it more polyvalent. Personally I don't hear a "real fuzz" like Fuzz Face or Maestro, it's more a high distorsion. Basically, it permits to get 4 different kind of tone : classical or mid-cut and both avaible with or without octave up ! And i won't talk about variations with the fuzz knob, that's pretty effective. The octave sound can't be activated without fuzz and adds an octave up. A famous sound heard in Hendrix or Neil Young's records, for simple riffs or legendary solos, but don't try with too complex chords or it will turn into a real mash !!Hello, first post. I did the mod on the octave aspect of the pedal and it was great. I got bored and ambitious (total newbie) and decided to do the tone mod, swapping the two caps. Well, when I was pulling out c14, the little silver pad came out. Now I get a very, very weak signal when I engage the pedal. So weak I cant even tell if there is any fuzz going on. 95% volume drop. I am not sure what to do. I tried jumpering c14 with the two little resistors that are right above it, they look to be linked by a trace, but I get nothing. Any help would be appreciated. I believe that capacitors use a marker to indicate direction (a white stripe down the side?) and have their value marked on them. So IMO what would be really useful is an indication of where or which way that direction indicator should be, and what values should be where. This is a musical octaver without unwanted glitches in lower notes and chords, allowing you to transform your electric guitar into a 12-string, a bass, or even a church organ.

This pedal offers a variety of sounds that can be useful in many contexts and styles. The tone of the octaves sounds as natural as possible for octaves that are clearly outside the reach of a standard guitar. Two octaves down produces a deep throaty sound that will require a larger speaker. This is a classic sound used in blues music. Hence, all the names of “blue” going on here. Marshall does make a modern version of the vintage Bluesbreaker. However, I’d say this Blue rain is more of a clone of the older Bluesbreakers. Joyo Bullet Metal Clone Of Nothing I rotated the caps and it sounds a lot better! Now I think it's pretty usable. I didn't try the swap on those other two, because I don't have much practice with this mods, and it took me hours to remove the caps that need to be rotated lol! They seem hard to remove, so maybe I'll take to my tech to made this one. Would you care to describe what's the difference after the swap?
