About this deal

Thhhhuuuumpppppppp !…grwat big snotty big dollop spewed out over the kitchen worksurface... no probs I thought, ...I’ll sort that out when I’ve finished, as I might make "a little bit more mess yet".... glad she's not in. More recently, I've used motor oil, thinned with diesel or kerosene to the point where it can be sprayed with one of those cheapo trigger-action hand sprayers, though a proper cavity sprayer would probably be better. Standard spray - Should be used on large flat upright panels and anywhere you can uses the spray bottle when it's held upright.

In fact the worse rust had occured where the chassis had been Waxoyled, to be fair i don't know the condition the chassis was in before it was 1st Waxoyled as i've only had the car a year or so... I'm sure lots of you guys have done this job at some time in the past & I want to know from experience what is the best & most economical method of application. I also had the real benefit that SWMBO was out so I had since 3.00pm been shoving the 2 gallon cans into the sink with near boiling water. I should have known things were going to go “slightly wrong” when I started. When i started to scrape off my Waxoyl late last year to treat chassis with POR15, i found that water had got in under the Waxoyl & it was actually preventing the moisture from draining away from the chassis To do a thorough home waxoyling will take a full day just spraying/painting and another 2 half days stripping out panels/carpets etc and reassembling.Waxoyl is a cheap easy to apply poor quality fluid. Dinitrol is far superior in every way... BUT must be applied in warm conditions.. Should be used to spray inside places that cannot be reached from outside, such as box sections, inner sills and chassis rails.

CarGurus UK Limited, c/o Legalinx Limited, 3rd Floor, 207 Regent St, London W1B 3HH, United Kingdom We then inject via pressure sprayer to internal bodywork and chassis cavities. We will if required drill and bung cavities as required, only with you express permission for areas which have noCompressor and parafin sprayer were used to spray in every hole, gap, opening and then to cover every surface...... If it rains, make sure you don't have wet carpets from drip/leaks from the hood, otherwise you can find the rear floor rotting from the inside. Extended spray - Should be used when the standard nozzle just won't reach and when you need to spray a panel that's above you. Can also be used to spray around corners and over parts like exhausts and axles.

This did not improve the sink/kitchen area one little jot, .....ever tried holding a 'waxoiled cat' in a sink with water and rags, and especially when cat does not enjoy it ? It also pinged the fuse for the lighting circuit, getting myself out of the underneath of the landy proved friutfull, in that I knew all the places that waxoil had “leaked”.It sat there and looked at me the way only a cat can... it sniffed (unapprovingly) the dripped waxoil, and I said… We could all meet at my garage, have a few beers and take in turns to slid under the Moggie to pump some more Waxoyl in. hour later cat was scrubbed and very peed off with me, I’ve had 2 baths, and also cleaned the bath it seems that the bath will not be rusty...scrubbed kitchen floor, sink, worktop So why am I sharing this, well just to advise caution if you think that a chassis is in good condition because it has been waxoyled, in my case this was definitely not so… all it served to do was mask the rust gremlins that are our very worst enemy. Grabbing some white spirit to further thin the waxoil I entered the kitchen and unscrewed the waxoil lid.
