About this deal

The only problem? Everyone else wants in on the action, and now the whole galaxy is boarding the Arks of Omen in search of glory, treasure, or just a big punch-up. In fact, four more Boarding Patrol boxes are preparing for launch in the near future – and only one of them might be said to have the Emperor’s best interests at heart… Bring even bigger guns to bear in the Age of Darkness with the Typhon Heavy Siege Tank. Designed to suit the battleplans of Perturabo himself, this modified Land Raider sports a frankly massive dreadhammer siege cannon that can reduce buildings to rubble and flatten whole squads. Exodus – The One Who Is Many Personally, I think having full 6 Deathshroud is a good idea. It’s really just that second Lord of Virulence. You’ll find a use for the Plague Marines if you’re playing Death Guard. With that in mind, we’re rating this one a Repeat. Chaos Daemons have – appropriately, given the arrival of Angron – manifested as a huffing and slavering crash of Khornate nightmares. 10 Bloodletters and 10 Flesh Hounds are led by Khorne’s favourite hunter – Karanak, the Hound of Vengeance. In the cramped confines of a space hulk, these frenzied killers will close the distance between enemy guns with warp-flushed speed and savagery. Bloated with corruption and sworn to Grandfather Nurgle’s service, the disgusting, rotted bodies of the Death Guard stink of decay, the joints of their armour dribbling putrescent slime that corrodes metal and burns flesh. These horrific disfigurements only enhance their skill as killers – each of Mortarion’s sons is a fearsome warrior who brings death and infection wherever they tread. To discover any foe lurking within a space hulk is a worrying thought, but the Death Guard’s presence is the stuff of nightmares.

Though masters of subterfuge and disguise, the Alpha Legion nevertheless had their own heraldry when waging war. Outfit your troops with helmets and shoulders that feature the intricate patterns and writhing hydra motif of the XX Legion. Character Heads Upgrade Sets Last, but not least, especially in terms of raw numbers, the Genestealer Cults Boarding Patrol. A Kelermorph leads the charge, alongside an Abominant, 5 Aberrants, and 10 Acolyte Hybrids/Hybrid Metamorphs. Horus Heresy’s New Toys The Death Guard box is interesting, because it’s a really low relative value, but it actually has some good stuff in it. Normally Death Guard boxes are filled with Poxwalkers, and though I do like Poxwalkers, this is better. But it’s low value. On Warhammer Community, we’ll have reveals for three different games**, more details of Vashtorr and the impact he can have both on and off the battlefield, and plenty more besides. The sons of Mortarion are ready to fumigate their local voidcraft with this bloated Boarding Patrol led by a putrid Lord of Virulence, his three sworn Deathshroud Terminators, and 10 incredibly sturdy Plague Marines who benefit from a corrupted cornucopia of weapon options. Boarding Patrol: Genestealer Cults We are a subreddit focused on the Games Workshop Warhammer 40k / Horus Heresy faction called the Death Guard. The Sons of Barbarus. Followers of the Death Lord. Nurgle Blessed. The Unbroken. XIV. The Aeldari, a latecomer, is currently ranking as the best at 202%. Sad it was released the same day as the 148% Drukhari.

Finally, a box without a ton of Poxwalkers! This box is pretty solid as you get a lot of troops but not a giant number of models overall.
