This DSS611Z has a very powerful motor, that is powered by 18V Li-ion battery (not included) to deliver smooth cutting power at a high rotational speed of up to 3,700 rpm. The 610 is missing the third connector, and that says to me that you should only use it for short cuts. If you're doing longer cuts take regular breaks or risk your battery. It will be interesting to see if the 630 has the third connector. No way, had no idea they produce their own too. Now I just need to figure out what model I have as the little metallic plate is pretty much scratched off!
