About this deal

This is not intended to be a full statement of all your rights under the Distance Selling Regulations. Full details of your rights under the Distance Selling Regulations are available in the UK from your local Citizens' Advice Bureau or your Local Authority's Trading Standards Office. The mind and body are often talked about as separate entities, but it’s only when they work in harmony with one another that one can truly push oneself to the highest heights. I find this guy laughable. This guy lectures us about mental fitness and maintaining a positive mindset and phasing out all negative thoughts. Ant I wish you did some of that before you hit a police woman and nearly killed or when you stormed out of your place just cos someone practically made an innocuous comment. Hell, even his brother has been in prison too. I mean I even get the impression you joined the SAS as a badge to flash around and say “look at me I was part of the elites “ when in fact he was barely in it. This guy is looked down upon by many real SAS officers btw.

He also seems to be a bit of a hypocrite - there is one chapter where he says that he wasn't around for his kids and then starts to lecture the reader on how to be a good parent - and as I was listening to the audiobook, it really did sound like a lecture. Learning from other people's mistakes is one thing, but trying to make something sound easy when you've failed to do it yourself is completely different. The beginning of this book motivated me to implement some changes. Your typical New Years Resolutions. And to not fall by the wayside after a week or two speaks well to this book. The mind and body are often talked about as separate entities, but it's only when they work in harmony with one another that one can truly push oneself to the highest heights. About his family; Any also says that you can't expect to win every argument, and Never lay a finger on your kids or spouse, even if you feel really mad with them. I really respect him for this statement, because he shows that he is still able to switch off, even when under great pressure. I really respect him for this Pay attention to people you invest in relationships with and talk about things you actually care about.Applicability of cancellation rights: Legal rights of cancellation under the Distance Selling Regulations available for UK or EU consumers do not apply to certain products and services. Like him or dislike him, he has excellent experience in the most extreme circumstances. The thing I like about Ants books is that he tells you these extreme stories from the forces and then translates them into relatable stories for those who aren’t in the forces. He also does so in a way that isn’t patronising in any way. I think everybody could relate to at least one of the stories told. A good book to read if you’re finding your place in the world, and I certainly wish it had been around 20-odd year ago. As I am moving forward on my goals I thought I'd try a mental Fitness to fortify my mind, to revisit & hone some skills for my next challenges Every aspect of our bodies and minds was designed to work in harmony with all the other parts. On the most basic level they’re reliant on each other. Without my brain, my heart wouldn’t carry on beating. Without my lungs, my brain wouldn’t have the oxygen it needs to function.

To push yourself to your limits- you have to work hard to develop a strong harmony between your mind and body. The latest in the Ant Middleton self help books, 15 Rules to Strengthen Your Body and Mind, does exactly that. The frantic events of that day made me realise for the first time that so much of my strength came from the ways in which my mind and body were connected. And whatever the elders might have said to our intelligence officers, we couldn’t be sure whether we’d get a friendly reception from the villagers. Any given individual we approached would be aware that the Taliban were probably watching our interaction with them. The wrong move could see them and their family punished. So the stakes were high, and the demands on our concentration and application immense. We had to be firm, but not aggressive; friendly, but vigilant. Even assuming that what we’d been told about insurgent activity was true, it was unlikely that we’d catch anybody red-handed – the Taliban had an incredible ability to just melt away at the slightest sign of danger. But if we did everything properly, and located what we’d been told was there, then we’d be able to seize enough of their gear to seriously disrupt their operations.
