About this deal

I'm curreently looking into upgrading my home network to UniFi switches (everything wired, WiFi out of scope). Besides a missing small form factor 16 port (I'm aware of UniFi Switch Lite 16 PoE) I'm planning with one UniFi Switch PRO 24 + a Cloud Key. Apparently the lite is a newer one, but I expect some issues with e.g. VLAN and VLAN profiles (correct)? To cache the firmware in your controller you open your controller and go to the settings (lower left gear icon). Search for Firmware and select Device Firmware Cache (or select Updates > Firmware in the settings menu)

Four ports also offer auto-sensing 802.3at PoE+ that provide up to a total PoE wattage of 52W for UniFi Access Points or other PoE devices. We would recommend the newer USW-Lite-8-PoE, it is the same price as the US-8-60W, has a better mounting solution and has a cleaner design meaning dust is less likely to get in. Not to mention it supports more powerful PoE devices on its four ports. Purchasing Even doing a factory reset doesn’t look like descriptions. The white light blinks off then dims but nothing starts to flash or turn off until I get the white-blue-off series for whatever mode. Yes, you will need to connect your laptop to either the switch or directly to your router with an utp cable Most of the time the Unifi gear is really easy to manage or adopt it in your network. But sometimes it just won’t work. I also had an Unifi Switch which I just couldn’t get adopted in the controller. A factory reset is then the best option, but how do you reset an Unifi Switch? I couldn't find a proper comparisson of both (POE is not needed), any insights on what they are capable of and not?
