Doubting God’s goodness. Struggling with trusting God to come through for you. You may even feel anger towards God for “letting you down.” Believing that God is mad at you and punishing you. Please read Ephesians 6:12-18. You are dealing with principalities of this dark world and if you are in this battle, you have been chosen by God to prepare as we are approaching end times. Again DO NOT BE AFRAID. Easier said than done but you when you put your trust in God and have faith that he will take care of everything, you will begin to walk in peace and be fearless. I needed this. I feel like I’m barely holding on right now. My mind feels like it’s running wild with so many messed up thoughts all the time. And right now, especially. Love was randomly misconstrued for hurting others. All I could think of was: “Stop trying to destroy my heart! I know what love is and God has it! I won’t let you twist or change the word “love” into something horrible.” But I’m not giving up! I’ve worked hard these past few months to reaffirm my faith in God, to seek him and I refuse to let the lies that Satan tries to feed me control me. It’s important to establish a baseline for the general laity to understand the difference between ordinary and extraordinary activity of the devil, and then to further define examples of extraordinary activity. All of us are tempted to sin, which is the easiest way to explain the ordinary activity of Satan. He tends to influence our thoughts with subtle messages we may dismiss as harmless, and then these can be entertained through our emotions and, if we do not rebuke them swiftly, can lead to sin. What do we mean by moral? We mean scriptural morality that lies in loving God, loving one another, and working hard to cultivate the Fruits of the Spirit, which are: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. This is what creates a moral life. Then Jesus lays out a fundamental truth: There are no sidelines in this war. The kingdom of God has come, and we’re either with Jesus or against Him. There are a million ways to oppose Jesus’ work in the world, but those who are with Him are focused on the same goal: building His kingdom by both knowing and following Him and by helping others to know him too. Jesus is seated above all demonic powers and fully destroyed the work of Satan, as the Bible says: "The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the works of the devil" (1 John 3:8). Some deny that regular believers have this ability based on Jude 1:8-9. In it, Jude warns of false teachers who reject authority and boldly insult demons, even though Michael, the archangel, would not even speak a harsh word against Satan. It says, In response to Jesus freeing the man from his demon and healing his blindness and muteness, a group of religious leaders called the Pharisees accuse Jesus of using Satan’s power to drive out demons. They say He is trying to fool people into following Him. I’ve taken to saying out loud, over and over “THERE IS POWER IN THE BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST”– just keep on saying it until you feel like JESUS has lifted your spirit.

Without it, you risk straying from a spiritual life based upon the Word of God to a spiritual life instructed by the self.
These spiritual entities are, according to Christian tradition, angels that were cast out of heaven after following their leader, Satan, in rebellion against God. Because of their transgressions, they now roam the earth as they await the final judgment.
Unlike false teachers, believers have authority based on their relationship to Christ (cf. Eph 1:20-22, 2:6, Matt 20:18-20). For this reason, Scripture calls believers to “resist the devil and he will flee” (Jam 4:7) and describes how we gain victory against the devil through the power of God and his armor (Eph 6:10-18). Revelation 12:11 describes how believers gain victory over the devil in the end times: “But they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives so much that they were afraid to die.” The ability to cast out demons was not reserved for Christ and the apostles; it is an authority all believers have because of their relationship to Christ. Certainly, some may be more gifted at it than others, but we are all told to resist the devil and that he will flee (Jam 4:7). Mike Driscoll Oppression can take on the form of an illness, alter a person’s relationships in the form of peculiar and divisive or toxic patterns, or invade other areas of one’s life, such as jobs or finances. There is no manifestation of a demon in the form of the spirit taking over a person’s body or changing his/her voice, involuntary behaviors, or extraordinary strength. Rather, spiritual oppression influences part of a person’s life in perhaps strange patterns of misfortune, unexplained diseases, or repeated severed relationships.We know that the poor souls in purgatory can benefit from our Masses and prayers to speed their time in purgatory. In the lives of many saints, the poor souls have appeared and made such requests. In rare cases, particularly with suicides and murders, they seem to be allowed to signal their presence and a need for prayer. Interestingly, I’ve seen this many times in churches and rectories where priests have died. Demons are essentially fallen angels. Apparently, one third of the angels joined Lucifer’s rebellion in heaven and that old dragon, the Devil, took with him a third of the angels with him. These angels became demons while Lucifer became Satan (Rev 12:4). That sealed Satan and the demon’s fate as we read in Revelation 20:10 where “ the devil who had deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur where the beast and the false prophet were, and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.” It appears that some demons grew so despicable that they had to be restrained , and still are as Jude writes that “ the angels who did not stay within their own position of authority, but left their proper dwelling, he has kept in eternal chains under gloomy darkness until the judgment of the great day” (Jude 1:6). The Apostle Peter wrote something similar by writing that “ God did not spare angels when they sinned, but cast them into hell and committed them to chains of gloomy darkness to be kept until the judgment” (2nd Pet 2:4) so both Jude and Peter tell us that some demons aren’t even allowed to be free. Perhaps they are so evil and dangerous that God had to restrain them in chains of darkness. By the way, this is also the fate of “ the cowardly, the faithless, the detestable, as for murderers, the sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death” (Rev 21:8) although not exactly the same level of punishment as Satan will have. One thing we do know; demons have been known to oppress people and some even possess people, but can a Christian be oppressed by a demon? Don’t let your past haunt you! Your mistakes—anything you did in the past—God has already forgiven you for. You must confess your sins genuinely! I’ve made many mistakes in my life and I’m trying my best to atone for them.
