About this deal

All Dr. Brown’s nipples are designed to accompany the anti-colic internal vent system and offer vacuum-free feeding to reduce air bubbles. While some babies prefer faster milk flow as they get older, each baby has their own preference and you may need to try out different nipples to find which one works best. If the thought of babies and glass sounds a bit dangerous to you, rest assured that glass bottles have come a long way in recent years. Some parents still prefer glass over plastic, for its natural components and no worries of dangerous plastic chemicals. Price: This is one of the most cost-effective baby products around, particularly with regard to cost for value. Using a formula pitcher is also a great way to prepare your baby’s formula for the entire day. Instead of going through the whole mixing routine every few hours, you simply pull the formula pitcher from the fridge and fill a new bottle with perfectly mixed formula. Mix baby formula without clumping

The Dr. Brown’s Formula Mixing Pitcher is the best when it comes to mixing large amounts of formula for your little one. This pitcher comes with a uniquely designed blade the easily dissolves and mixes powered formula with no clumping and less foam than shaking a bottle. How to Use the Dr. Brown’s PitcherEasy measuring: Allows you to pour the exact amount of formula you need for each bottle (great for babies who drink an odd # of ounces or babies who have a different amount each time!). YES. And thank goodness. If your baby has already arrived, you know how tiring it is to wake up at 2:00 a.m. and make a bottle for a hungry baby. I did the pitcher method and it was SO helpful. I bought 2 pitchers, and essentially whatever I pumped that day was the next day’s milk. So I pumped, put caps on the bottles that I pumped into and just popped those into the fridge to cool down to fridge temperature. Then whenever I had a a minute and the bottles were cool, I would just swirl them and then dump them into the pitcher. At the end of the day, I would fill up all of the next days bottles and leave them in the fridge. So all of the bottles for the next day were made and waiting in the fridge. Then I would put an leftover milk from the pitcher into freezer bags and then wash the pitcher. Since I was filling up the pitchers a day ahead, this always worked really easily. So, to make it more clear, at the end of each day, in the fridge I had all of the baby bottles filled for the next day and an empty and cleaned pitcher ready to fill up throughout the next day. This was easiest for me because I could do all of the bottle filling and pitcher cleaning after the baby went down to sleep, and had all the bottles done for the next day and a clean pitcher ready to go before going to sleep myself.

When you’re ready to bottle or pitcher prep, wash your hands and prep your bottles, nipples, and your pitcher, if using one, to be sure they are clean and sterile. 3 Mixing the baby formula

Feel the Flow

Last thing is that you definitely CAN combine milk from multiple days into one pitcher. Just remember that milk is good in the fridge for about 3 days. And you have to count from the day of the earliest milk in the pitcher. So if I have milk from Monday and Tuesday in a pitcher or bottles- I need to use it all by Wednesday. If I don’t- no problem! Then I just need to freeze it on Wednesday.

Using a formula pitcher lets you mix a larger batch of formula, up to 24 hours in advance, which you can pour into a bottle in the middle of the night. It saves time, and keeps your baby from getting wrongly mixed formula when you’re too tired to think straight. Dr Brown’s Formula Pitcher gets The Formula Mom stamp of approval! It’s a great option for families who want the convenience of prepared formula without the cost of liquid ready-to-feed options. Here’s why Mallory loves it! So in my fridge at all times, I had all the bottles for the day and a pitcher being filled with milk for the next day (plus the bottles from my most recent pump that were also in the fridge cooling down, waiting to be added to the pitcher). NEVER combine different temperature milk. Creates a smooth formula texture: No shaking means no bubbles to create uncomfortable gas for your baby. If you’re mixing a single bottle, make sure to shake it long enough to avoid clumps. Always pay attention to the ratio of formula to water

Final Verdict

My baby always had a hard time with every bottle out there but once I gave my baby this one baby took it right away with no problems.” —Walmart.com review Keep in mind: Dr. Brown’s narrow nipple really helped my baby to feed well. The slow-flow nipple works with the internal vent system for paced feeding. Each nipple has the same consistent flow rate, so my baby knows what to expect.” —Walmart.com review Keep in mind:
