Since I was filling up the pitchers a day ahead, this always worked really easily.So, to make it more clear, at the end of each day, in the fridge I had all of the baby bottles filled for the next day and an empty and cleaned pitcher ready to fill up throughout the next day. This was easiest for me because I could do all of the bottle filling and pitcher cleaning after the baby went down to sleep, and had all the bottles done for the next day and a clean pitcher ready to go before going to sleep myself.

Last thing is that you definitely CAN combine milk from multiple days into one pitcher. Just remember that milk is good in the fridge for about 3 days. And you have to count from the day of the earliest milk in the pitcher. So if I have milk from Monday and Tuesday in a pitcher or bottles- I need to use it all by Wednesday. If I don’t- no problem! Then I just need to freeze it on Wednesday.
