About this deal

And she generally only plays with Friends, Harry Potter and Vidiyo sets and figures. Classic Space has never been an interest of hers. Those are pretty much boilerplate responses, at this point. It doesn’t matter what the basic theme is, every CMF series has been called both. Even S1 was, by default, since anyone who claimed S2 was the best when it released was implying that S1 was the worst of the pair.

Surprise characters – Kids can escape into a world of endless adventure with these LEGO® Minifigures Series 24 (71037) characters. There is an unexpected minifigure in every blind bag I am neither here nor there about this character. I guess I like it, but I don’t love it. Since I am not currently building anything space related (hence the pics in the Eiffel Tower), I do not have much need for a futuristic robot character. However, experience taught me that you never know when you will need a particular Minifigure. I’ve skipped a few in the past only to wish I had bought them later. I’ve always wanted to build a space scene… Maybe the Robot Warrior will come in handy some day. Originally, when there were only two colors, white was American, and red was Russian. As they added new colors, it shifted to represent roles, but I know of two contradictory lists: The Robot Warrior colors are a very strange combo to me. They should have gone with something more vibrant for the base other than white. Not a figure I want more than one of.

Just finished opening my full set. This is an extraordinary group of figs. I'm disappointed that I didn't get a full box rather than just the 12. They're that good. In Dave Duncan’s Great Game trilogy, WWI-era British who travel to another plane of existence end up coming across a race of white redheads, who they refer to as Carrots. And that’s all I can think of now when I see the carrot costume. I also suspect that the Rococo Aristocrat's dog is probably meant to represent a different "toy" breed than Chihuahuas, despite sharing the same mold. Perhaps it's a Papillon, a breed that was popular with European nobility for centuries, has a similar narrow muzzle and large ears to the chihuahua. Papillons' ears are usually a darker color than the rest of their coat, but solid white ones DO exist. And while the silky around the sides of their face is often grown out to give it the butterfly-like silhouette the breed is named for, this is not always the case.Inevitably, the Brown Astronaut and Spacebaby have dominated discussion around this whole series of Collectable Minifigures. The astronaut from Classic Space was available in five colours between 1978 and 1984 and several more have been introduced recently. Reddish brown is an unusual colour for an astronaut, but something distinctive is welcome. But she has zero idea what Classic Space is or that it was my favorite LEGO theme when I was a kid, since I never told her. Also my childhood LEGO is stored at my parents' in the attic mostly, so she also can't draw any hints from my old collection there. I'm still of the view that many more people would have collected the CMFs if there were no chances of burning money needlessly on accidental doubles. I certainly would have. What I have on display here is mainly my Modulars, Creator Expert cars, larger Technic sets from about 2010 to 2018, and some Ideas sets as well as MOCs. And more recently lots of train sets and accessory buildings from that German competitor that must not be named. ;-)
