About this deal

I found it interesting to reflect on how attitudes have changed in twelve months; in this story, London is watching Europe move into their first lockdown with the expectation this would also be experienced in the UK. As DC Clements tries to draws on some connections and leads it appears that there may be a link between these two very different women.

I had a few suspicions about the conclusion but it still left me unable to put this dramatic thriller down. It’s how I imagine a lot of marriages are… but what’s that I can see, a creeping shadow that isn’t quite revealing itself. I found it very hard to pull myself away from the clutches of Both of You, it was a seductive title. Both of You’ is a genuine page turner and I read it very quickly as I wanted to know what was going to happen.I'm not going to say much about the plot because this story is far too easy to spoil, so here are a few thoughts on the writing style. Money is no object, he lives a high-flying lifestyle, women have never been a problem, he can have anyone. Definitely complex to begin with, as I was somewhat confused by the two parallel threads about Leigh and Kai. Enjoyed the story and raced ro the end, unfortunately the red herrings didn't work on me and I figured out where it was going way before the end.

After pretending to "rescue" her from the room she was imprisoned in, Fiona brings Kaileigh to her beach house, gets her drunk and then shoves her off a cliff. She’s a mother, would she really walk away from her family and could this be connected to other disappearances? This story has the capability of encasing your heart in ice, its harrowing and captivating and pushes ice cold water through your veins.Meanwhile, Kai Janssen, who is married to wealthy Dutch City businessman, Daan, vanishes the same week. It is the sort of boon Adele Parks appreciates because she knows many of her colleagues had to struggle for years to achieve a fraction of her success. Adele Parks is one author that I have never got around to reading and I don’t really understand why. As such, while many of her peers in the publishing arena would rather disappear behind a computer, Adele is out in public making her voice heard. It also slowed the pace of the book down as the middle was mostly inner dialogue that became repetitive and tedious.
