Regardless, though, the choir manages to blend in and become one of, if not the highlight of the track. The shows near and dear to my heart, and part of the reason I love Christmas despite not celebrating it.What Guaraldi does hear is he takes out the snare roll being on a drum and instead gets a chorus to be the snare drum. In my head I imagined a mostly green vinyl with a subtle spatter of actual gold colored vinyl, which would’ve looked fantastic and would’ve really complimented the album. Recorded at Hive Mind Studios in Brooklyn, NY, with the help of producer/arrangers Mike Buckley and Vincent Chiarito (both members of Charles Bradley's Extraordinaires) and crack team of a-list musicians, his upcoming album blends heavy arrangements and introspective lyrics with sophistication, leaving the listener in a blissful wash of wonderment.

Working primarily with bassist Fred Marshall and drummer Jerry Granelli, Guaraldi brought the animated characters to life with his music, pairing inspired interpretations of traditional yuletide fare (“O Tannenbaum,”“Hark, the Herald Angels Sing,”“What Child Is This”) with original compositions, including the iconic “Linus and Lucy” theme, “Skating,” and “Christmas Time Is Here.
