Potter says she doesn’t personally mind the constant, casual questions about motherhood, “and I realise why they come up, socially, but I know that for a lot of friends who couldn’t have children those questions can be a trigger”.

Her voice was so easy to listen to and she made me laugh so much especially when Nell was being snarky or sarcastic.

Together they begin to help each other heal their aching hearts, cope with the loss of the lives they had planned and push each other into new adventures and unexpected joys. If I could put those things aside it would be a 5 star read for pure entertainment (and a few emotional tears).This novel isn't just a sequel; it's a continuation of a journey that reminds us that life's path is rarely linear. This is what we all want and this is what I try to do when my mum friends talk to me about their problems.
