There was speculation on social media after politicians were seen passing notes in the House of Commons earlier. Royal fans had gathered outside the gates of Balmoral and other royal homes amid concern for the Queen. Her funeral will then be held at Westminster Abbey around ten days after her death and she will be laid to rest at St George’s Chapel in Windsor, with her husband Philip and parents.
