About this deal

I'll agree with others that first and foremost, this IS a jasmine perfume before it is a vanilla perfume.

If it smells bad on you it is most likely cause of your body chemistry, it smells different on me then on some of my friends.Wearing Olympéa today, and I can’t stop taking a moment every few minutes to appreciate how stunning it is! Gave a nice sillage on the opening but not too impressed with the longevity after a couple of hours.

This has 0 similarity to pure XS (which I dislike) and some similarity to Kenzo World Power but that scent has zero white florals and zero woods, it’s a more unisex version of this. I also don't get the beachy or summer vibes, which is great because this is actually a perfect all-year-round fragrance that can be great for most occasions. I can’t tell you how many people have complimented this scent, it has very good sillage and wear on me. The Jasmine note from the original perfume is replaced with Orange Blossom which makes the scent a bit fresher and more summery. I actually love to layer with this too, I add it to overly sweet scents or freshies and the salt just elevated other scents. This feels like sitting on a warm sandy beach, overlooking the ocean and the breeze brings floral scents from afar which mixes beautifully with the salt and sand. Im not generally a big fan of vanilla but the saltiness takes the edge off the sweetness enough to make it adult and chic. It’s sexy and a nice change from the millions of fruity florals among designer fragrances at the moment.

When I first spray it, everyone around me can easily smell it when I pass by, and it keeps that way for hours. Overall: Above average performance from the start, this is versatile enough to be worn year round by anyone and for any occasion. It's interesting that some reviewers here say that all they get is vanilla, so perhaps it depends on which formulation it is. I get the salt which gives it this ocean air feel but then the florals really help to tone it down and create that perfumeyness. I'd describe the smell of Olympéa as a beehive with very ripe honey that's surrounded by white flowers.I felt like this smacked in the face by the smell of burnt tyres that someone tried to cover up by burning jasmine and neroli right next to it. Update , great summer perfume, wearing it a lot , my husband likes it he said it smells like Florida , this time he is not so far off.

It’s actually quite offensive to my nose, even though it’s not a super offensive scent profile oddly. It’s a pleasant spring scent, specially for dreamy ladies, but it may be too strong for some and it’s not really original. Don't get me wrong, I love freshly washed clothes 😋 but I'm hoping for a scent that I love about as much as the Olympéa mother scent.Perfect for all year around vanilla balanced with salt, especially during summer makes you feel like a greek goddess. Although this perfume is known as a sweet-gourmand scent, this is the only gourmand scent that performs well on my skin under the heat and still attracted compliments. I'm not saying you will actually get coconut notes from Olympéa Solar but this fresh and creamy accord makes me think of no other type of ice cream but coconut. I can't stand the original Olympea because of the "nineties perfume vibe" it gave me, also I hate salt in a frag.
