About this deal

Reading the poor reviews here I’m confused how this could sound that much worse (except of course for the pressing quality issues). Got the Deluxe Edition- terrible pressing, There's no actual literal audio time skipping on my copy, but the playback is plagued with pops and scratch sounds.

Less noted is the way that Sticky Fingers, particularly in the middle section with the aforementioned tracks, is as expansive and free form as a Hendrix record. Brown Sugar" is a caricature of all the Stones' strongest musical instincts, and I mean that in the most complimentary way.

Sticky Fingers is the ninth British and eleventh American studio album by the English rock band The Rolling Stones.

LONDON SE9 2EQ (i found a version with a sleeve but there "should" be on the upper lef side a logo from a youth magazine which distributes also records (TWEN) / but this logo is not there instead there is: A BIT OF ADVICE FROM JIMMY M. I could say that the album opens with their definitive (though not greatest) song in "Brown Sugar," but I would be overlooking one thing: the fact that the album actually opens with a zipper. The ninth studio album “Sticky Fingers” was a turning point in the long career of the Rolling Stones. edit: just arrived, the cover and sleeve are both fairly beat but considering I got it for retail I’ll take it. Despite what you see in the media 180 to 250 plus does not enable better should quality from the vinyl.

Instead of getting it together like kings would, they turned in a classic as spectacularly messy, sleazy, and sticky as they were. There are probably better sounding pressings out there but it’s not so easy finding originals that aren’t at deaths door ! Matrix / Runout (Side B runout, etched, MPO®20 160405 stamped): 0602557974508 B2 MPO®20 160405 MILES. The sound of the soft faraway thump of voodoo drums over darkened Southern fields and the Devil waiting down at the Crossroads just pervades this entire album and soaks it deeply with an evil Blues funk unparalleled in music. Late 60's - early 70's sound) but sometimes peaking and saturating the original master (at least on my copy), which I personally like but it is nice to hear a different approach which still sounds nice - and some nice surprises there with more details coming out which give a different dimension to the recording, a more immediate being in the studio with the stones experience.

No harsh mid and hi-freq EQ like in previous master (The one with zip and extra disc with out-takes. Picked this up thinking I was getting the 2015 pressing (after reading all the horrid reviews of the 2020 AR 1/2SM).On this pressing, I feel there is nothing lacking: sounds of the instruments are separated, I hear organ, strings, piano, vocals, individual guitars, lots of bass punch as well as cymbal treble, a feeling of space in the reverberation, probably true to the master recording.
