Their security forces quickly apprehend you and shuttle you to Citadel Station, where vice president Edward Diego offers you the implant with top-quality surgeons doing the work in exchange for removing the ethical constraints of the station's AI, SHODAN.

However, SHODAN became self-aware and began to develop a personality, leading to conflicts with its creators. In the 1989-1990 run, jets of dry ice would also be activated, and the prize money would be lost; in this instance, the contestant would win a plush doll.

After a brief interview, the contestant selected one of 10 packets of questions; each packet contained 12 questions. Unobtrusive colour-coordinated strips along the wall would have gone such a long way to help new players parse the world without straying from being a faithful remake.

By overcoming technological limitations with a number of innovative techniques they’ve created a game that was critical and commercial success, with many critics and fans hailing it as one of the greatest games of all time.
