Over the decades, Russell Hobbs has been at the forefront of quenching our national thirst for hot beverages with fast, easy to use, stylish electric Kettles. They won't submit to the wasteful expense of putting on the heating until they can make stalactites with the garden hose, yet the kettle seems to be in almost constant use. I'm sure I'm not the only one who's snubbed the tumble dryer for the tedium of hanging clothes on chairs, mirrors, and table corners.
If the kettle were to be knocked over or dropped, only a small trickle of water should escape, reducing the risk of accidents. This gives the Vektra kettle a real advantage over standard electric kettles with a metallic body, as we know they can become extremely hot and may pose a risk to the user. Bought this Kettle May 2018 and LOVED IT but after only a year and a half it has broken (it broke 2 days ago Oct 2019) so whilst this is an amazing kettle, I have to give it one star for its reliability. Another safety feature of the Vektra kettle is the anti-spill lever-controlled lid and the non-drip spout.
