About this deal

This movie starts out very lighthearted and gentle but it transforms at some point (beautifully) into something a little more heavy and intense. A young woman engaged to be married finds herself in an affair with her soon-to-be stepmother's lesbian daughter. Girls are brilliant at mind games; put two girls in a relationship together and a kamikaze of subtle sneaky mind games goes on. These women treat oral like it’s an assault, and when you make-out with them, they try to remove your tonsils with their tongue. At the very least, there will be no murder, suicide, attempted murder, sudden death, patricide, "hysteria", etc.

is dreaded on a daily basis and can lead to much more than unnecessary passive aggressive eye rolling. Redeeming quality: manages to pull off the "queer women are supernatural" trope without being condescending. In its simplicity, the story endears itself to any audience gay or straight because it is universal.

The queer vampire has a long, rich history in literature and film, and today we’re exploring fifteen lesbian vampire movies that will make your spines tingle with fear and delight. Sugar Rush is a British show about a young woman discovering she is attracted to her straight friend (that old story). This method of relationship is exhausting and ultimately kills the exciting buzz that made the two of you want something in the first place. Still recovering from her health problems, Tig struggles to find balance with the loss of the only person in her life who understood her.

There really is something for (almost) everyone, but wlw fans in particular get a good amount of fan service. It's a lot of fun, the music is great, and YES PLEASE on all the fresh butch/masc/gender non-conforming representation we've been seeing recently. This causes her suppressed subconsciously-controlled psychokinetic powers to reemerge with devastating results. The daughter of a man on death row falls in love with a woman on the opposing side of her family's political cause.

Their friends are trying to throw them a memorable bachelorette party but there seems to be one major problem ruining everyone's good time. A streetwise hustler is pulled into a compelling conspiracy after witnessing the suicide of a girl who looks just like her. If only the world was as “open-minded” as us… Alas, matters of sexual identity and equal love, often cause so much friction in the rest of the world. Communication is a huge part of any relationship but for lesbians it seems to take on a whole other concept; in lesbian relationships, talking is no less important than breathing. I can't decide whether this film should be more like Vampyros Lesbos or like Charles Busch's Vampire Lesbians of Sodom.

Orange continues to explore the stories and lives of inmates (and sometimes guards) in a smart, humorous, sometimes dramatic tone. The titles in this list won't always escape the pitfalls mentioned above, but all of them have at least one redeeming quality. The acting is quite good and it's definitely one of the more realistic (and positive) portrayals of this sort of relationship. Then suddenly you’re both syncing and it’s a week of wild accusations and crying at completely ridiculous adverts or any kind of cute, fluffy animals. Redeeming quality: almost makes up for all the horrible memories of secret school-time crushes that destroyed you as a teenager.

Actually, I get the feeling that this could be the analogue of Snakes on a Plane, except lesbians are the snakes? A modern suburban nuclear family type setting where the main focus is the family's nanny/housekeeper, who just happens to be gay and very attractive. I won't give too much away, but if you are a fan (or if you just have an hour and a half to kill), it's definitely worth a watch. A series about a powerful friendship that blossoms between a tightly wound widow and a free spirit with a shocking secret.During World War II, an Englishwoman opens her heart to an evacuee after initially resolving to be rid of him in this moving journey of womanhood, love and friendship.
