About this deal

I have tried to minimize the needed sourced parts as always, and employ the most common and sourceable possible parts. In the rear axle you can use the same CVDs than in the front one or use a 3D printable solution for what would be the Rear Dogbones. Underneath the retro body is a collection of purposeful parts. The 550 electric motor is efficient and powerful; the suspension, driveshafts, steering servo, chassis, and axles are all heavy duty and metal. In CAR’s group test it took a pummelling and kept going with no issues. I'm also including the main body of the axles in 3 different lengths, which should let you use 102015 or 106015 HSP CVDs, or a combination of them to achieve the desired axle length. Designed to be an out of box competition crawler tire, the Bully 2.2 is created with the help of the RC4WD Crawler Team with full testing completed in multiple conditions and terrains. do portals kind of defeat the purpose of building an LCG crawler. IF the goal is to lower the center of gravity, it seems that portal axles are kind of counter productive.

Most if not all of these parts are strictly dimensioned, so It would be better if you print them solid. For that, I'm using 0.4mm line widths and 0.2mm layer heights with hundreds of top/bottoms, so it gets solid. Everything ultra light weight and LOW. I might not do rear steering. But I want a ton of power so probably and 3350kv 10 pole motor and a mamba x. Two have the Ar44 Axial, light weight good clearance and can turn tight. They are on light comp rigs, They are not the strongest and maybe not the best for trail but I am a non aggressive driver and like them for comp. One is Class 2 and the other is class 1.If the user has a preference, he can choose between weighted tires for better grip or lightweight tires for greater agility and speed. With the medium length axles and big crawler wheels, the total width is around 290mm, 280mm with 96mm wheels. You can add or remove 24mm to those numbers if using the long or short axles.

Low gearing also helps combat the weight of larger tires. “An aggressive set of oversized treads is a great way to help your 4×4 get farther down the trail. The added ground clearance, along with a larger footprint, can do wonders in the dirt. But don’t over-tire your drivetrain,” explains Driving Line Magazine. “There isn’t a steadfast rule for this, as there are dozens of factors to consider (vehicle, suspension, and axle type being among some of the most important).”The MOA chassis is machined with carbon fiber material. This is a new high-quality material RC4WD uses to make the MOA lighter to bring you the best options for your crawling style.
