With the narrow piece at the crotch that's not adjustable in width, this leaves his legs dangling and unsupported, not in the natural seated position, as he gets older. It is worth noting that compared to other similar carriers - like the Ergobaby Omni Breeze, Tula Explore and the Lillebaby Complete - the Gemini doesn't last as long. The Beco Gemini can also be machine washed on a cool cycle if necessary, again using a mild detergent. Back carry position is also comfortable for the baby, although for the parent there are some issues with the chest strap being too high and not being able to make it tight enough.

In the inward-facing frontal position, you can simply adjust a couple of snaps to make sure it’s safe for those tiny legs. From an ergonomics perspective, I don’t think the outward-facing leg positioning for baby is great either, because their legs just dangle. We love that the wonderful Beco Gemini can be used from newborn without the need for a bulky infant insert and offers so many wonderful features. Moreover it is comfortable for the wearer, can be worn for extensive periods of time and very easy to wash.
