About this deal

Along with this personal quest, Tsukasa and Anzai’s relationship may continue to grow and flourish. Memorable moments may lie ahead, such as Tsukasa meeting Anzai’s parents. This moment could be Tsukasa’s opportunity to understand Anzai better and get even closer to him. They might even discuss their future together and possible marriage, adding a touch of romance to the already rich plot. Tsukasa thought she knew everything about Akimura. She's unsuspectedly rescued from half-devil, Anzai, who works with the police force specializing in devil-related crime. So, as it turns out, when it comes to book boyfriends (gah I hate that term, but can’t think of a better one), I’ve got a type. Tsukasa is willing to risk everything to rescue Anzai. Anzai learns about his past as he recovers from his injuries.

The vampire lore was kind of cool? But it will definitely need more development in future volumes. In fact, I think that's another reason I rated it lower. The dialogue/story jumps between chapters were a little confusing, and I can't tell if it was because of a bad translation, or the writing itself. But I think the characters definitely make up for it -- Anzai especially! (He just hit all the right notes for me -- I'm excited for more of his story!) And I got attached to Anzai and Tsukasa pretty easily. Even though Anzai was the "white knight" to Tsukasa's damsel-in-distress a few times, he wasn't patronizing about it, which was very refreshing. You can tell Anzai is aware of how hard a human/vampire relationship will be, but that he wants to be with Tsukasa if he can/she wants him to be. He cares for Tsukasa in a way that allows her the choice to either continue or stop the relationship. I just like that he basically starts hanging out with her because they both know they're lonely. It was sweet. If a second season were to see the light of day, it is very likely that the original cast of the anime will return, thus enriching the plot with new characters. “Devils Line” is, after all, based on a popular manga that captivated its readership with a complex plot and deeply developed characters.

What, Tsukasa and Anzai are in their early 20s? I thought they were teenagers. Their romance feels somewhat unconvincing, now, although I still like how sweet and cute it is. A decision of Tsukasa's was reminiscent of Vampire Knight: heroine decides to throw herself under the bus and offer her blood to a vampire she cares about. It's weird, it's creepy, it's dark, and it's pretty dang good. It isnotwhat you imagine when you think "vampire romance." The most obvious difference is that the romantic subplot (vampire cop guy and non-vampire girl) and the nonromantic subplot (shadowy organization trying to genocide vampires, who make up about .01% of the population) get roughly equal attention. The story may even be biased slightly towards the non-romantic plot. And the non-romantic plot is strong enough to stand on its own as a compelling story.

Despite the absence of an official announcement regarding a second season, the undeniable enthusiasm of fans of “Devils Line” only strengthens the hope of a sequel to this captivating story. The passion that drives them in their quest for information on a possible second season is palpable. They are always on the lookout for the slightest rumor, the slightest clue that could give them a glimmer of hope. So naturally, when I go to the manga shop “just for a browse” and I’ve been jonesing for something a bit dark, with maybe some slow burn and a tiny bit of tortured tension or “it’s so bad it’s good”, I am BOUND to come out with something. Für alles ab Episode vier übernehme ich keine Verantwortung 😀 The art is just cool. I really like how that random hoe who does not have a personality had different colored hair than the other hoe who does not have a personality. Their voice actresses are also not the one and same person which makes telling them apart even easier. Thanks for that. The opening on the other hand is a masterpiece... at fooling people into thinking this show might actually not be utter garbage, which it is. Ich meine: Vampire, Kriminalfälle und eine romantische Plotline?! Was möchte ich momentan mehr um mich von der Außenwelt abzulenken. The production of the first season of “Devils Line” was handled by a trio of respected production companies in the field of animation: Kodansha, King Records and Platinum Vision. This collaboration has resulted in an anime series that has captured the attention of manga and anime fans around the world.

I thought this was fine. As I said, it's basically a darker TWILIGHT, but I liked TWILIGHT even as I wished it were darker, so this ended up working out for me just fine. I probably would have liked it more when I was younger, as both characters look very young. Tsukasa looks like she could be in middle school and Anzai kind of reminds me of "L" from Death Note with higher cheekbones. The series stood out with its captivating storytelling, well-developed characters and quality animation. The first season, which covered up to chapter 40 of the manga, was able to seduce the fans of the first hour as well as the newcomers. However, despite the success of the series, no official announcement has yet been made regarding the production of a second season. The guy who books him is a half-vampire, half-human hybrid named Anzai, who works as a sort of police officer among his kind, hauling in the bad guys who prey on humans and disrupt their way of life. We get to see several of the cases that he's working on before he's put on leave for beating up a teacher who assaults Tsukasa right before Anzai is supposed to meet her for hot pot. Devils Line is a series that explores deep themes such as the duality of human nature, the conflict between good and evil, and the difficulty of finding one’s place in a world that rejects us. The story takes place in a modern world where demons live in secret among humans, trying to control their predatory instincts while yearning for a normal life. Finally, Platinum Vision is a relatively young animation studio, established in 2016. Despite its young age, Platinum Vision has already animated about 11 animes, demonstrating an ability to produce quality series in record time. Their technical expertise helped bring the complex universe of “Devils Line” to life.Crunchyroll, a platform specializing in Asian content, has carved out a place for itself in the hearts of anime fans with its rich collection of popular and lesser-known works. Moreover, with its subtitling options in multiple languages, Crunchyroll offers a personalized viewing experience to its users. Although, the story was very reliant on Anzai and Tsukasa's relationship, and might be considered by some to be too insta-love, I think they work really well together as a couple. I personally just... liked their relationship? Might be a "it's only me" thing. (And side note: I'm starting to weigh that a little more with manga. I don't mind a little bit of insta-love because it is very common in a lot of shorter manga series, and based on the plot/titles of the manga, you sort of know what you're getting into anyway... so I forgive it more easily. But I do feel like it shouldn't overtake the story's main plot -- if you're forcing the two love interests to make out as much as possible over general plot development, that's obviously a problem.) As stated, the first season of Devils Line covered up to chapter 40 of the manga, with a few chapters omitted. The manga “Devils Line” counts a total of 69 chapters. Therefore, if a second season were to see the light of day, it could cover the last 29 chapters of the manga. This means that the second season could offer even more action, suspense and romance than the first season. Yuuki Anzai arrives at ONL early the next morning. He's cautiously optimistic (mostly cautious) about the safety of what they're going to try to do and a little ashamed he arrived so early. Midori Anzai and Tsukasa Taira invite him up and Midori introduces them to some of the staff including Kurasawa from R&D, Julius Kurtz, and Dr. Kitashiba, who will be the doctor in charge of monitoring their sexual interaction.
